Behold! The Blue Mustang...Bob Seger Tried to Warn Us All

from Wise Words from the Uninformed by Mississippi Bones

lyrics

I was waiting to board down by gate 4;
Denver International.
Just on my way home minding own business;
Outdated Readers Digest.
A strange man sat down next to me and asked,
“Are you ready for the end?”

Well the lights went out
Distant drums began to pound,
But when the walls began to melt,
That’s when I knew I was a dead man.

Strange markings forming on the wall
And they looked Illuminati and reeked of the occult.
Then an equine vision just chilled me to the bone,
And a disembodied voice said “Praise and behold!”

Now I’m running down the corridors of DIA
And being chased by horrific perversions to our natural world.
The walls are bleeding red.
Bob Seger playing in my head singing,
“Get out of Denver baby, get out of Denver.”

Well the lights went out
Distant drums began to pound
But when the walls began to melt
That’s when I knew I was a dead man.

Strange markings forming on the wall
And they looked Illuminati and reeked of the occult.
Then an equine vision just chilled me to the bone
And a disembodied voice said
“Praise and behold the Blue Mustang, for death follows in its wake!
Behold the Blue Mustang, and kneel before its fiery gaze!”

Inside that room,
They brewed a foul mixture of incense, burning entrails, incantations and devilry.
Ground split in two,
A doorway to unknown dimensions.
An endless pit of untold horrors screaming to be free.
Clawing, reaching, screaming horrors stampeding towards me.

That’s when I knew I was a dead man.

Strange markings forming on the wall
And they looked Illuminate and reeked of the occult.
Then an equine vision just chilled me to the bone,
And a disembodied voice said
“Praise and behold the Blue Mustang, for death follows in its wake! Behold the Blue Mustang, and kneel before its fiery gaze!”
